Mayor Johnson convened the Special Meeting at 7:56 p.m.
Roll Call - Present: Councilmembers Daysog, Gilmore, Kerr and
Matarrese - 5.
Absent: None.
Agenda Item
(04 -644) Recommendation to authorize the Mayor to execute a
Contract for recruitment services for City Manager.
Mayor Johnson stated that Council met and interviewed various firms
for the recruitment of the new City Manager; reference checks will
be conducted; Richard Hughes will continue to provide supplemental
consulting services; after reference checks have been completed,
the Mayor will negotiate and execute the Contract with the
preferred recruiter.
Councilmember Kerr moved approval of the recommendation (to have
the Mayor negotiate and execute the Contract following reference
checks) .
Councilmember Matarrese seconded the motion, which carried by
unanimous voice vote - 5.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor Johnson adjourned the
Special Meeting at 7:59 p.m.
