Mayor Johnson convened the Special Meeting at 6:20 p.m.
Roll Call - Present: Councilmembers Daysog, deHaan, Gilmore,
Matarrese and Mayor Johnson - 5.
Absent: None.

(05 -491) Adjournment to Closed Session to consider: Conference
with Labor Negotiator; Agency Negotiator: Arthur Hartinger of
Meyers, Nave, Riback Silver and Wilson; Employee: City Attorney;
and
(05 -491A) Consideration of City Attorney's Contract Renewal.
Ed Murphy, Alameda, read and submitted comments regarding the City
Attorney.
Mayor Johnson stated that Council met in closed session with labor
negotiators and reached agreement relating to the automatic renewal
provision of the City Attorney's Contract.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor Johnson adjourned the
Special Meeting at 7:18 p.m.
