Mayor Johnson convened the Special Meeting at 7:15 p.m.
Roll Call - Present: Councilmembers deHaan, Gilmore,
Matarrese, Tam and Mayor Johnson - 5.
Absent: None.
(07 -120) Joint Study Session with the Board of Education to
discuss cooperative programs and joint efforts
City and School District staff gave a Power Point presentation.
The following speakers addressed the Council and School Board:
Gretchen Lipow, Alameda; Trish Spencer, Alameda; Roxanne Clement,
Bay Farm Media Center; Kris Murray, Alameda Education Foundation;
Anne Taylor, Alameda; James R. Flowers, Alameda; and Jeanne
Kettles, Alameda.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor Johnson adjourned the
Special Meeting at 9:32 p.m.
