ARRA Resolution 14ALAMEDA REUSE AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY RESOLUTION NO. 14 AUTHORIZING THE ALAMEDA REUSE AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (ARRA) EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO REPRESENT THE ARRA TO APPLY FOR THE CALIFORNIA DEFENSE ADJUSTMENT MATCHING GRANT WHEREAS, California Defense Adjustment Matching Grant Program operated by the California Trade and Commerce Agency is designed to provide a portion of the matching grant funds required of communities seeking federal funding for defense related economic adjustment strategies and programs; and WHEREAS, the Alameda Reuse and Redevelopment Authority is eligible to compete against the other California 1991, 1993 and 1995 BRAC closure bases for up to $100,000 of the available $500,000 in the 1996 spring solicitation round of the California Defense Adjustment Matching Grant Program; and WHEREAS, the California Trade and Commerce Agency requires the Alameda Reuse and Redevelopment Authority authorize application to the California Defense Adjustment Matching Grant Program; and WHEREAS, the California Trade and Commerce Agency requires the Alameda Reuse and Redevelopment Authority authorize its Executive Director to represent the Alameda Reuse and Redevelopment Authority concerning the California Defense Adjustment Matching Grant Program application and the grant. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Alameda Reuse and Redevelopment Authority that the ARRA Executive Director is hereby authorized and empowered to apply, approve, sign and execute in the name of the Alameda Reuse and Redevelopment Authority any documents necessary for applying to receive funding under the California Trade and Commerce Agency's California Defense Adjustment Matching Grant Program.
