Mayor Johnson convened the meeting at 6: 10 p.m.
Roll Call — Present: Councilmembers deHaan, Gilmore, Matarrese, Tam and
Mayor Johnson — 5.
Absent: None.
The meeting was adjourned to Closed Session to consider:
(10 -185) Conference with Legal Counsel — Anticipated Litigation; Significant Exposure
to Litigation Pursuant to Subdivision (b) of Section 54956.9, Number of Cases: One.
(10 -186) Conference with Labor Negotiators; Agency Negotiators: Interim City Manager;
Employee Organization: Executive Management.
Following the Closed Session, the meeting was reconvened and Mayor Johnson
announced that regarding Anticipated Litigation, the Council received a briefing and
provided direction regarding the litigation; and regarding Labor, the Council received a
briefing on Executive Management employee terms and provided direction to the
Interim City Manager.
There being no further business, Mayor Johnson adjourned the meeting at 7:10 p.m.
