Mayor Johnson convened the meeting at 5:10 p.m.
Roll Call — Present: Councilmembers deHaan, Gilmore, Matarrese, Tam
and Mayor Johnson —5.
[Note: Vice Mayor deHaan left at 5:40 p.m.]
Absent: None.
Public Comment
Speakers: David Howard, Alameda; and Caroline Topee, Alameda.
The Special Meeting was adjourned to Closed Session to consider:
(10 -492) Public Employee Performance Evaluation (54957); Titles: City Attorney, City
Clerk and City Manager
Following the Closed Session, the Special Meeting was reconvened and Mayor
Johnson announced that the City Council gave direction to the Mayor to have a special
session under Government Code Section 54957 for performance evaluation of the City
Attorney; due to lack of time, the Council did not get to address the evaluations of the
City Clerk or City Manager and deferred the items.
Adjournment
There being no further business, Mayor Johnson adjourned the meeting at 6:30 p.m.
