WHEREAS, a petition :.was filed.. with:.
the city clerk as required by the pro
visions of Ordinance Naw 149, n S.,
requesting that the. property situated
at 1543 Everett street. be changed and
reclassified from a Class I; Single Farn
ily Dwelling; District" to a Class.:.VI,
Hospital District, which petition:. was
signed by the owners of more. than
twenty five per cent of the area of
real property situated within a radius
of six hundred feet cif. said: property;
and
WHEREAS, notices were posted by
the city clerk and a hearing provided
for -al nd duly held.- before the City
Council in tune, form and manner as.
required by law, and the. City Council
having duly considered said proposed.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Council. of
the City of Alameda as f o ll. ov� r s.
Section 1. That the property kno \V 11
and numbered 1543 Everett street,
also as Dot 21, in Block S, of the Ala
.:r eda Station Homestead be, and the
sang e is hereby changed and reclassified
from a Class I, Single Family Dwell-
ing District, to a Class V.l, Hospital.
District, in accordance with the pro-
visions of Ordinance No. 149, N. S.,
and the city clerk is hereby ordered
to correct the official zone map for use
and height districts and show the said
change or reclassification there -on, as
required by the provisions of Section
35 of said ordinance.

of the City of Alameda, this 18th day
of October, 1921.
