Ordinance 0376ORDINANCE NO. 376 New Series An Ordinance regulation traffic in the George A. Posey Tube and its approaches and fixing a penalty for the violation thereof. Ordinance No. 376 Alameda City Ordinances New Series (Coiitinued from the Tube except as directed by an officer. SECTION 19. No person shall re- move any fire extinguisher from niches provided except for fire pur- poses, and in no case shall remove such extinguishers from the Tube or subject extinguishers to hard and antivarr.anted usage. SECTION 20. No unauthorized Person shall tamper or interfere with or disturb any telephone, sig- nal, lighting or other equipment of the Tube. SECTION 21. No shouting or boisterous conduct shall be per- mitted in the Tube or in or around Portal Buildings. SECTION 22. Any person violat- ing any of the provisions of this ordinance, or any rule or regulation hereof, shall be guilty of a misde- meanor, and upon conviction there- of, shall be punished for the first offense by .a fine not to exceed Fifty Dollars ($50.00), or by im- prisonment in the city jail for not more than five (5) days; for a sce- ond offense within a period of one (1) year from the date of the first offense by a fine not to exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), or by imprisonment in the city jail for not more than ten (10) days, or by both preceeding page) such fine and imprisonment; for third and each additional offense committed within one (1) year from the date of the first offense by a fine not to exceed Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00), or by imprison- ment in the city jail for not more than three (3) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. SECTION 23. This ordinance shalt take effect immediately. Adopted and passed by the Coun- cil of the City of Alameda this 16th day of October, 1928. FRANK OTIS, Presiding Officer of the Council.
