RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY
(Property known as 1244 Broadway)
Be it ordained by the Council of
the City of Alameda, as follows:
Section 1. The property in the
City of Alameda, County of Ala-
meda, State of California, described
as f ollows :
BEGINNING at the point of
intersection of the Southeastern
Tine of Broadway with the di-
viding lame between. Lots Nos. 2
and 3 in Block No. 13, as Broad-
way and said lots and block are
shown on the map hereinafter
referred to, said point being dis-
tant 127 feet Southerly from the
intersection of said line of Broad-
way with the Southwestern line
of the parcel of land firstly de-
scribed in the Deed from John
C. Hays and Caperton to
the Bay and Coast Rail Road
Company, dated. October 16, 1877,
and recorded in Liber 152 of
Deeds, page 265; running thence
Southeasterly along said dividing
line between said Lots Nos. 2
and 3, 140 feet, 2 inches; thence
Southwesterly and parallel with
said line of Broadway 50 feet to
the dividing line between and
Lot 3 in Block 13 and Lot 1 in
Block No. 12, as shown on said
map; t h e n c e Northwesterly
along last mentioned dividing
line 140 feet, 2 inches to said line
of Broadway; and thence along
said last named line Northeast -
erly 50 feet to the point of be-
ginning;
BEING Lot No. 3 in Block No.
13, as said lot and block are de-
lineated and so designated upon
that certain map entitled, "Map
showing Subdivision of Half Acre
Lots in the Hays & Caperton
Tract, Alameda, surveyed Au-
gust, 1877, M. G. King, C. E.,
filed September 25. 1877, in Liber
7 of Maps, page 20, in the office
of the County Recorder of Ala-
meda County,
is hereby changed and reclassified.
from Residential District, Class 1, to
Residential District, Class 1 3 / 4 .
