AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC-
TION 12-665 OF ARTICLE 6,
CHAPTER 6, TITLE XII, OF THE
ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE,
RELATING TO MILK PRODUC-
TION, DISTRIBUTION AND
SALE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALA-
MEDA as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 12-665 of
Article C), Chapter 6, Title XII, of
the Alanneda Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 1.2-665. Milk to Come
From Henithy Cows — Bacterial
Count — Product of Standard
Dairy. All milk intended for
pasteLirization -hall come from
cows free from all disease as
determined, at least once in six
months, by the Veterinarian of
the City of Alameda. It shall
contain less than seventy-five
thousand bacteria per cubic centi-
meter before pasteurization and
less than fifteen thousand bac-
teria per cubic. centimeter at the
time of delivery to the ultimate
consumer. Dairies from which
this milk is derived must score
at least.seventy (70) on the score
card . adopted by the State of
California Department of Agri-
culture, Division of Animal In-
dustry, Bureau of Dairy Service,
and shall be the product of a
dairy or dairies conducted in
strict conformity with the ordi-
minces of salcl City and with the
re-ulations of the Health Officer,
and shall be in every respect A)i
such standard as is now, or may
be hereafter, from time to time,
established by ordinance.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and
after the expiration of thirty .(30)
days from the date of its final
passage.
