NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING
PROPERTY BY ADDING SEC-
TION 43 TO ORDINANCE NO. 725,
NEW SERIES.
BE' IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALA MEDA,
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 43 is hereby
added to Ordinance No. 725, New
Series, to read as follows:
Sec. 43. The real property in the
City of Alameda, County of Alameda,
State of California, described as fol-
lows:
Portion. of Block 40, as said
block is shown on the "Map of
Alameda, Surveyed and drawn
by J. T. Stratton 1853" filed July
24, 1879 in Book 6 of Maps at
page 1, in the office of the
County Recorder of Alameda
County; also portion of Lots 21
and 22, as said lots are shown on
the "`Map of Bishop and Bart
Tract, Alameda," filed January
13, 1890 in Book 17 of Maps, at
page 86, in the office of the
County Recorder of Alameda
County, .described as follows:
Beginning at a point on
the northeastern line of Fill -
more, formerly Webster, Street,
distant thereon northwesterly
169.08 feet from the northwest-
ern line of Mound Street; and
running thence at right angles
with said line of Fillmore Street
northeasterly 100 feet; thence at
right angles northwesterly 40
feet to the southeastern line of
said Lot 21; thence at right
angles northeasterly along said
line of Lot 21, 19.30 feet to the
northeastern line of said Lot 21;
the along the last named line
at right angles northwesterly 20
feet; thence at right angles
southwesterly 50 feet; thence at
right angles southeasterly 20
feet; thence at right angles
southwesterly 69.30 feet to said
line of Fillmore Street; and
thence at right angles south-
easterly along said line of Pill-
more Street 40 feet to the point
of beginning;
Is hereby taken out of the "A" One -
Family Duelling District and re-
classified to and placed in the "A -l"
One - Family Dwelling District.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and
after the expiration of thirty (30)
days from the date of its final
passage.
