ORDINANCE. NO, 1009
NEW SERIES
AUTHORIZING SALE OF REAL
PROPERTY TO JAMES HILL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALA -
MEDA:
Section 1, The Council of the City
of Alameda is hereby authorized to
sell to James Hill the following de-
scribed real property situated in the
City of Alameda, County of Ala-
meda, State of California:
BEGINNING at a point on the
western line of the parcel of
land described in the deed by
Henry H. Shed to Southern
Pacific Company, dated Febru-
ary 23, 1912, and recorded March
1, 1912 in Book 2.049 of Deeds at
page 278, Alameda County Rec-
ords, at the southeast corner of
the parcel of land described in
the deed by Gertrude Christen-
sen to City of Alameda dated
7 3.22 feet to the point of be-
ginning,
for the sum of TWO THOUSAND,
THREE HUNDRED TWENTY -FIVE
($2,325.00) DOLLARS, said sum to
be paid in cash by the purchaser
upon tender of a deed to the pur-
chaser by the City of Alameda; City
to pay cost of revenue stamps; title
insurance and escrow fees at cost
of buyer,
Section 2. The Mayor of the City
of Alameda is hereby authorized and
directed to execute and deliver said
deed for and on behalf of the said
City, and the City Clerk is directed
to attest the same, as soon as this
ordinance becomes effective.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be
in full force and e ffect from and
after the expiration of thirty (30)
days from the date of its final
passage.

ern line; thence along the last

I, the undersigned, hereby certify
that the foregoing Ordinance was
duly and regularly adopted and
passed by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting as-
sembled on the 4th day of October,
1950, by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen A n d e r s o n ,
Osborn, Sweeney and President
Branscheid, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Jones, (1).
