Ordinance 1015Alameda City Ordinances New Series Ordinance No. 1015 ORDINANCE NO. 1015 NEW SERIES AUTHORIZING LEASE TO JOHN F. WARD, AN UNMARRIED MAN, OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA. WHEREAS, John F. Ward, an un- married man, hereinafter called Lessee, has applied to the City of Alameda for a lease of those certain premises situated in the City of Alameda, here- inafter particularly described, for a term of ten (10) years, commencing on the lst day of February, 1951, and ending January 31, 1961; and WHEREAS, a form of lease to be executed by the City and said Lessee and containing the covenants and agreements stipulated and agreed upon between the parties has been submit- ted to the City Council and filed with the City Clerk at an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council held on December 12, 1950; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT OR- DAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA: Section 1. That the real property situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alarneda, State of California, and particularly described as follows, to -wit: BEING a portion of Main Street, :formerly Main Avenue, as delin- eated and designated upon the Wrap entitled "New Map of Wood- stock" recorded in Malta Book 6 at Page 18, in the Alameda County Recorder's Office, and situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, and further described to -wit: COMMENCING at U. S. Coast and Geodetic Survey monument "Main Atl" and running thence along the line to U. S. Coast and Geodetic Survey monument "Atl Third" S 87' 16' 11" E 72,68 feet to the westerly line of Tract 41 as said Tract is delineated and designated upon the map entitled "Map of Alameda Marsh. Lands as parti- tioned among the owners thereof in the suit numbered 8923 and en- titled Pacific Improvement Com- pany, Plaintiff, vs. James A. Way- mire, et al., Defendants, Superior Court of Alameda County, State of California," filed in the Alameda County Recorder's Office in Map Book 25 at pages 74 to 78, thence along the westerly line of Tract 41 S 0° 34' 29" W 237.68 feet to a granite monument on the segrega- tion line as shown on the aforesaid Map of Alameda Marsh Lands; said point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence along the seg- a e ~ati -m line S 84° 25' 31" E 20.95 feet to segregation line Station 3; thence continuing along the seg.re­ gation line N 80* 04' 29" E 7Q.07 feet to the easterly line of Main Street as shown upon aforesaid T mew Map of Woodstock; thence along said easterly line S a U3' i :u 1 216.63 feet to a point; thence at right angles to the last named course N 86° 51' 34" W 75.00 feet to a point; thence N 3° 07' 59" ",1 201.03 feet to the TRUE POINT OF FsEGINTNING, be leased to John F. The Mayor of the City of Alanieda 3s hereby authorized and di- reeled to ey z cute the aforesaid lease for and or behalf of said City, and the City Clerk is directed to attest the same icon as this ordinance shall become effective Section 4.
