AMENDING ARTICLE 4, CHAPTER 2,
TITLE ":XVII or THE ALAMEDA
MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO
LEFT" TURNS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1. Article 4, Chapter 2 1 'Title
XVII of . the Alameda Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
Article . 4. Left Turns
See. 17 -241, Left Turns Restricted. It
shall be : unlawful for the driver of
any vehicle; except as hereinafter pro-
vided, to drive such vehicle to. the
left and make a left hand turn be-
tween the hours of 10 :00 a. m. and
6:00 p. m. on Saturday of each week,
and between the . hours of 3:30 p: m.
and 6:00 p. m. on other days of each
week except Saturday, Sundays and
holidays excepted, at the street inter-
sections and places hereinafter in this
section specified and appropriate signs
shall be caused to be maintained by
the Chief of Police at such intersec-
tions or places between said hours.
Said intersections and places are as
follows:
(1) Santa Clara Avenue. and Park
Street.
(2) Central Avenue and ..Park
Street;
See. 17-242. Left "T"urns Prohibited. It
shall be unlawful for the driver of
any vehicle to 'drive such vehicle to
the left and make a left hand turn, at

any time, at the street intersections
and places hereinafter in this section
specified; . and. appropriate : signs; shall
be caused to be maintained by the
Chief of Police at such intersections
or places. Said intersections and places
are as follows:
(1) On Webster Street between the
entrance to the Posey.Tube and
Tynan .Avenue.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in
full force and effect frorn and after
the expiration of thirty (30) days from
the date of its final.passage.
