AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
AIAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY
ADDING SUBDIVISION (40) TO
SECTION" 17 -432 THEREOF, RELAT-
ING TO STOP INTERSECTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
Section 1. That Section 17 -432 of the
Alameda Municipal ' Code be, and is
hereby, amended by. adding thereto
a new subdivision numbered (40),
which shall read as follows.
(40) Lincoln Avenue and Fifth
Street, signs shall be erected` on
Lincoln Avenue . at or near the
northeasterly and. southwesterly
corners of its intersection with
Fifth Street,
Section 2. This ordinance is hereby
declared to be . a measure of 'great
emergeney and necessity for the im-
mediate preservation of the public
health and safety and shall take ef-

feet immediately, to eliminate a dan-
gerous traffic' condition.
