ORDINANCE No.. 1057.
NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A LEASE OF CER-
TAIN HEAT.. PROPERTY TO ALA-
MEDA BOYS' CLUB, INC. AND
APPROVING THE FORM AND
TERMS OF SAID LEASE.
WHEREAS, the Alameda Boys' Club,
Inc., a non - profit corporation, herein-
after referred to as Lessee, has applied
to the City of Alameda for a lease of
certain real property situate in the
City of Alameda and more .particu-
larly described in the form of lease
hereinafter referred to, for the purpose
of conducting its activities, for a term.
beginning April 19, 1952, and ending
April 19, 1957, at a monthly rental of
$40, payable monthly in advance; and
WHEREAS, a form of lease con-
taining the covenants and agreements
stipulated and agreed upon between
the City of Alameda and Lessee has
been prepared and submitted to this
Council at its regular meeting held
March 4, 1952, marked, "Filed Mar. 4,
1952, and ordered filed with the City
Clerk of said City;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ..OR-
DATNED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That the form of lease
referred to in the preamble hereof and
the terms, covenants, agreements , and
provisions. thereof be, and the same
are hereby, approved.
Section 2. That the real property
described : in said form of lease be,
and the same is hereby, leased to
Alameda Boys' Club, Inc., a non- profit
corporation, upon the terms, covenants,
agreements and provisions contained
in the form of lease submitted to this
Council and filed and approved as
aforesaid,
Section 3. The Mayor of the City of
Alameda is hereby authorized and di-
rected to execute and the City Clerk
to attest, as the act and deed " of the
City of Alameda, a lease substantially
4 n the form and containing the terms,
covenants, agreements - and provisions
set forth in the aforesaid form of
lease.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after
the expiration of thirty (20) days from
the date of its final . passage.
