AN ORDINANCE. AMENDING THE
ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY
ADDING SUBDIVISION (42) TO
SECTION 17-432 THEREOF, RELAT-
ING TO STOP INTERSECTIONS,
AND .BY AMENDING SUBDIVISION
(3) OF SECTION 17- 431. RELATING
TO THROUGH HIGHWAYS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That Section 17 -432 of the
Alameda Municipal Code be, and is
hereby, amended by adding .thereto a
new subdivision numbered (42), which
shall read as follows:
t,42) High Street and San Jose
Avenue, signs shall be erected on
High Street at or near the north -
westerly and southeasterly corners
of its intersection with San Jose
Avenue. .
Section 2. That subdivision (5) of
Section 17 -431 of the Alameda Munici-
pal Code be, and is hereby, amended
to read as follows:
(5) High Street, from the north-
erly line of Otis Drive, to the
United States Tidal Canal, exclud-

ing, however, its intersections with
San Jose Avenue, Santa Clara Ave -
nue and F'ernside Boulevard.
Section 3, This ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after
the expiration of thirty (30) days from
the date of its final passage.
