AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTI-
CLE . 6, CHAPTER 3. TITLE . XVII,
OF THE . ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL.
CODE,. RELATING TO PARKING
METER ZONES, BY ADDING A
NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS
SECTION 17- 362.1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA :
Section 1. That Article 6, Chapter 3,
:Title :XVII, of the Alameda Municipal
Code be amended by adding thereto
a new section numbered 17- 362.1, which
new section shall read as follows:
See. :17- 362.1. Parking Zones on
State Highway Route 226. The park-
ing meter : zones established by
subdivisions (11), (12) and (13) of
Section 17 -362 hereof, insofar as
they are located on State High-
way Route 226, shall be abolished
within six (6) months after re-
ceipt by the City Council. of the
City of Alameda . of written notice
of withdrawal of. approval of said
areas for such use by the Depart-
ment .of Public Works of the State
of California:

Section 2. This ordinance shall be in
full 'force and effect from and after
the expiration of thirty (30) days from
the date of its filial passage.
