AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY
AMENDING SECTIONS 17 -231 AND
17 -232 THEREOF, : RELA"IING TO U
TURNS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE :CITY'' OF ALAMEDA:
SECTION 1 . That Sections :17 - 231 :and
17 -232 of the Alameda Municipal "Code
be, and' they are hereby; amended to
read as follows:
Sec. 17 -231. 'CT Turns Prohibited.
It shall be unlawful for the driver
of a vehicle to drive such vehicle
in a semicircle or make a semi-
circular or U turn so as to proceed
in the opposite direction at or
within :any of the intersections and,
places: hereinafter specified, and
appropriate signs shall: be erected
and maintained at : such : intersec
tions or places.. Said intersections
and places are as follows
(1) .Park . Street and San Jose
Avenue;
(2) Park Street and San Antonio
Avenue;
(3) Park Street and En c i n al
Avenue;
(4) . Park Street and Alameda.
Avenue;
(5) Park Street and Central
Avenue;
(6) Park Street and Santa Clara '
Avenue;
(7) Park Street a n d W e b b
Avenue;
(8) Park Street and .Lincoln
Avenue;
(9) Park Street and Pacific Ave -,
nue;
(10) .Park Street and Buena Vista
Avenue.
Sec. 17 -232. U Turns. Prohibited.:

SECTION 2, This ordinance shall be
in full fore(! and effect from and 'after
the expiration of thirty (30) days from
the date of its final. passage.
