AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY
AMENDING SECTION 5 -231 THERE-
OF, RELATING TO REPAIR : OF
SIDEWALKS:
BE IT OREiINED BY THE COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA as
follows
Section 1. That Section 5 -231 of the
Alameda Municipal Code be; and the
same is hereby. amended to read as
follows:
Sec. 5 -231. Provisions of State
Law Adopted. The provisions of
Sections 5600 through 5629, both
inclusive,. of that 'certain Act of
the Legislature of the : State of
California, approved April 4, 1941,
(Chapter 79, Statutes of- 1941)..des-
ignated therein and commonly re
ferred to as the "Improvement .
Act of 1911," as amended prior to
and as the same were in effect
on September 9, 1953, are hereby
adopted and made a part of this
code.
Section 2. : This ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after
the expiration of thirty..(30) days from
the date of its . final' passage.
