Ordinance 1120ORDINANCE NO. 1120 New Series AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUILDING CODE OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA BY AMENDING SUB- SECTION (b) OF SECTION 1302 THEREOF, RELATING TO RE- QUIREMENTS FOR GROUP H OC- CUPANCIES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN- CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA as follows: Section 1. That subsection (b) of Section 1302 of the Building Code of the City of Alameda be, and the same is hereby amended, to read as follows: (b) Special Provisions. Division I occupancies shall be one-hour fire-resistive construction through- out and shall be of Type I con- struction if more than two stories in height. Group H occupancies more than two stories in height or having more than three thousand square feet (3,000 sq. ft.) of floor area above the first floor shall be of not less than one-hour fire-resis- five construction throughout. For attic space partitions and draft stops see Section 3205, Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of its final passage. T ELAND W.
