AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY
ADDING THERETO A NEW SEC -
TION TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION
7- 1132,: RELATING TO SMOKING IN
PUBLIC CONVEYANCES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIS. OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That the AIam,eda Munici-
pal Code be, and the same is hereby
amended by adding thereto a new
section numbered 7 -1132, which shall .
read as follows:
Sec 7- 1132. Smoking in Public
Conveyances. It shall be unlawful
for any person to sinoke any cigar,
cigarette or pipe, or to carry any
lighted cigar, cigarette or pipe
within any motor bus or other
public utility passenger vehicle
being operated within the City of
Alameda,
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in
full farce and effect from and after
the expiration of thirty (30) days from
the date of its final passage.
