Ordinance 1173Alameda Clety Ordienances Ordinance No. 1173 New Series AUTHORIZING SALE OF REAL PROPERTY TO J. J. MANNING, JR. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN- CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA: Section 1. The Council of the City of Alameda is hereby authorized to sell to J. J. Manning, Jr., the follow- pig described real property situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California; BEING a portion of Lot 2 in Block "F" as said lot and block are shown on the map of "Waterside Terrace, Alameda, Cal., filed Au- gust 30, 1912 in Book 27 of Maps, at page 12, in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda County, more particularly described as fol- lows: BEGINNING at the northern cor- ner of Lot 2 in Block "F" as said lot and block are shown on said a and in southeasterly 105 go ing t angle South- at a right p I a right feet; thence a w esterly 4 feet. thence ' terly 105 feet to the angle northwe northwestern line of Lot 2; thence northeasterly 4 feet to the point of beginning. BEING the northwesterly 105 feet of a 4-foot strip of land along the northeastern side of Lot 2, for the sun of Eight Hundred Fifty ($850) Dollars, said sum to be paid in cash by the purchaser upon tender of a deed to the purchaser by the City of Alameda; purchaser to pay all incidental costs of sale, including, among other items, title insurance and escrow fees, revenue stamps, and cost of publication of this ordinance. Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver said deed for and on behalf of the said City, and the City Clerk is directed to attest the same, as soon as this ordinance becomes effective. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of its final passage. R. P.
