Ordinance 1198ORDINANCE NO. 1198 New Series AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING SUBDIVISIONS (71), (72) AND (73) ; TO SECTION 17 -432 THEREOF AND BY "REPEALING SUBDIVISION (42) OF SECTION 17 -432 AND INSERTING IN ITS PLACE AND STEAD'A'NEW -SUB- DIVISION (42), ALL RELATING TO STOP INTERSECTIONS, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN- CIL OF THE CITY OF ALA;MEDA: Section l: That ,Section '17 -432 of the Alameda Municipal Code be, and is hereby, amended by adding thereto the following new subdivisions, which shall read as follows: (71) Clinton Avenue and Sherman Street signs shall be erected on Clinton Avenue at or near , the northeasterly- corner of , its inter- section with Sherman Street. (72) Alameda Avenue and Willow Street, signs shall be erected on Alameda Avenue at or near the southwesterly and northeasterly corners of its intersection with Willow Street:. (73) Alameda Avenue and Wal- nut Street, signs shall be erected on Alameda Avenue at or near the southwesterly and < northeasterly corners - of - its intersection with Walnut Street. Section 2. That Section 17 -432, sub- division (42) is hereby' repealed and the following subdivision shall be in- serted in its -place and stead: (42) ;High Street and Encinal Avenue, signs =shall be erected on High Street at or near the north- westerly and southeasterly corners of its intersection with ; Encinal Avenue. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full , force and effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of its final passage. R. P.
