AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC-
TION 17-364.1 AND SECTION 17-333
OF THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL
CODE TO PROVIDE THAT PARK-
ING SHALL BE PROHIBITED ON
THE EAST SIDE OF PARK AVE-
NUE BETWEEN CENTRAL AND
SANTA CLARA AVENUES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1. Section 17-364.1 of the
Alameda Municipal Code is hereby
amended by repealing subdivisions
14(a), 14(b) and 14(c) thereof relating
to 2-Hour Parking Limit,
Section 2. Section 17-333 of the
Alameda Municipal Code is hereby
amended by (a) repealing subdivision
(15) thereof, and (b) amending sub-
division (14) thereof to read as
follows:
(14) Park Avenue, on the east-
erly side thereof and between the
northerly line of Central Avenue
and the southerly line of Santa
Clara Avenue.
Section 3. That Sheet 7 of 11 of
Drawing 2964-A, Case S, City of Ala-
meda Engineering Department, en-
titled "Parking Plan — Park Street
Area," three copies of which are on
file in the office of the City Clerk,
being marked "Filed Nov. 29, 1956,"
be, and the same is hereby incorpo-
rated herein and adopted by refer-
ence.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and
after the expiration of thirty (30)
days from the date of its final
passage.
