AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF :A LEASE
TO CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
TO THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
AND APPROVING THE FORM
AND TERMS THEREOF (NORTH
END OF GRAND STREET.
WHEREAS, a form of lease has
been proposed by and between the
City of Alameda, as Lessor, and the
State of California, as Lessee; of cer-
tain real property situated at the
north end of Grand Street, to be
utilized by the Lessee as an angling
access area and small boat ramp; and
WHEREAS, said form of lease has
been duly filed in the office of the
City Clerk of the City of Alameda,
marked "filed Nov. 18, 1957"; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City
of Alameda is informed and aware
of the contents of said lease*
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OR-
DAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ALAMEDA as follows*
Section 1. That the form of lease
referred to in the preamble hereof,
and the terms, covenants, agree-
ments and provisions thereof be,
and the same are hereby approved.
Section .ii. That the Mayor of the
City of Alameda is hereby authorized
to execute, for and on behalf of the
City of Alameda, that certain lease
by and between the City of Ala-
meda, as Lessor, and the State of
California, as Lessee, relating to cer-
tain real properly at the north end
of Grand Street, and the City Clerk
is hereby directed to attest to same,
Section 3. This ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and
after the expiration of thirty (30)
days from the date of its final
passage.

Freeman, Petersen, Schacht and
President McCall (5).
