Ordinance 1350Alameda City Ordinances New Series Ordinance No. 1350 New Series AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE BY QUITCLAIM DEED OF CERTAIN CITY OWNED PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS TO THE SOUTH SHORE LAND COM- PANY, A NEVADA CORPORA- TION (OTIS DRIVE AND WILLOW STREET). WHEREAS, certain public utility easements have been previously granted to the City of A I a m e d a without consideration by the South Shore Land Company in the vicinity of Otis Drive and Willow Street in the City of Alameda, and WHEREAS, it is hereby found and determined by the Council of the City of Alameda that there no longer exists any public need or necessity for such easements; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT OR- DAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA as follows; Section 1. That the City of Ala- meda convey by quitclaim deed to the South Shore Land Company, a Nevada Corporation, those certain public utility easements situated in the City of Alameda, County of Ala- meda, State of California and more particularly described as follows: (1) Public Utilities Easement 287 feet by 10 feet recorded June 9, 1960, No. A.R. 67180, Reel 103, Image 371. (2) Public Utilities Easement 247 feet by 10 feet recorded June 9, 1960, No. A.R. 67181, Book 103, Image 374. Section 2. That the Mayor of the City of Alameda be, and he is here- authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of Alameda a quit- claim deed transferring to the South Shore Land Company any interest the City of Alameda may have in the public utility easements described above. The City Clerk is hereby di- rected to attest to same. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of its final passage. WILLIAM M.
