AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING
AND REZONING CERTAIN PROP-
ERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA BY AMENDING ZON-
ING ORDINANCE NO. 1277, N. S.
(835 and 839 Portola Avenue—R-2
to R-I district)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 11-116 of Ordi-
nance No. 1277, N. S., is hereby
amended by reclassifying and re-
zoning from R-2, Two-Family Resi-
dence, District to the R-1, One-
Family Residence, District all the
real property situate within the City
of Alameda described as follows:
Assessor's Block Book No. 275,
Lot Nos. 10 and 11 (835 and 839
Portola Avenue).
SECTION 2. The above amendment
shall be known as and referred to
as Reclassification and Rezoning
Amendment No. 16 to Ordinance No
1277, N. S.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and
after the expiration of thirty (30)
days from the date of its final
passage.
