AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY
REPEALING SUBDIVISIONS (2),
(3), (4), (5) AND (6) OF SECTION
17-581 THEREOF, RELATING TO
PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS,
AND SUBDIVISIONS (2). (3), (4)
AND (5) OF SECTION 17-582
THEREOF, RELATING TO THE
ERECTION OF 35 MILES PER
HOUR SPEED LIMIT SIGNS
(SOUTH SHORE AREA).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That subdivisions (2),
(3), (4), (5) and (6) of Section 17-581
of the Alameda Municipal Code, re-
lating to prima facie speed limits,
are hereby repealed in their entirety.
Section 2. That subdivisions (2), (3),
(4) and (5) of Section 17-582 of the
Alameda Municipal Code, relating to
the erection of 35 miles per hour
speed limit signs, are hereby re-
pealed in their entirety.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and
after the expiration of thirty (30)
days from the date of its final
