Carlson recorded October 2, 1957, it page 271, Book 8483, Offi- cial Records of Alameda County; THENCE along the direct extension southerly of the easterly line of last said parcel, South 29° 19' lV est, 11.81 feet; THENCE South 50° 00' 16" West 20.33 feet to the southwesterly Pane of said parcel from Powell Brothers Construction Coripany .a tire. City of Alameda.; THENCE along said southwesterly I ine North 39° 59' 44" West 68.00 feet to the direct extension south- erly of said easterly line of Oak Street; THENCE along last said extension, northerly 33.72 feet to the BE- GINNING. EXCEPTING THEREFROM AND RESERVING unto the City of Alameda an easement over, across and under the real property de- scribed above for sanitary sewer and other municipal purposes; said ea.scinent being described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the east- erly line of Oak Street distant southerly thereon 925 feet from the tioatherly line of Clinton Ave - nue, said point being the north - erly corner of the parcel of land described in the deed from Powell Brothers Construction Company to the City of Alameda recorded February 21 191.9, at page 49, Book 2743, of Deeds, Alameda County Recorder's Office; THENCE along the northeasterly line of said parcel South 39° 59' 44" East 76.17 feet to the easterly line of the parcel of land de- scribed in the Quitclaim Deed from Robert W, Carlson to Ruth M. Carlson recorded October 2, 1957, at page 271, Book 8483, Offi- cial Records of Alameda County; THENCE along the direct extension southerly of the easterly line of last said parcel, South 29° 19' West 6.52 feet; THENCE North 42 41' West 74.77 feet to the direct extension south- erly of said easterly line of Oak Street; THENCE along last said extension, northerly 10.32 feet to the BE- GINNING. for and in consideration of the sum of NINE - HUNDRED and TWENTY- TWO ($922.00) DOLLARS to be paid in cash to the City of Alameda by grantee. Section 4. That coincident with the transaction referred to in Section 3, the said Muth M. Carlson transfer unto the City of Alameda an ease- ment for sanitary sewer and other municipal purposes over, across, and under certain real property situate in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, and more particularly described as fol- lows: BEGINNING at a point on the easterly line of Oak Street dis- tant southerly thereon 925 feet from the southerly line of Clin- ton Avenue, said point being the northerly corner of the parcel of land described in the deed from Powell Brothers Construction Company to the City of Alameda recorded February 21, 1919, at page 49, Book 2743 of Deeds, Ala- meda County Recorder's Office; THENCE along said easterly line of Oak Street northerly 0.24 feet; THENCE South 42° 41' East 74.92 feet to the easterly line of the E ast of land described in the < uitclaim Deed from Robert W. arison to Ruth M. Carlson re- corded October 2, 1957, at page 271, Boole 8483, Official Records of Alameda County; THENCE along said easterly line of last said parcel, South 29° 19' West 3.99 feet to northeasterly line of aforesaid parcel described in deed from Powell Brothers Construction Company; THENCE along said northeasterly line North 39° 59' 44" West 76.17 feet to the BEGINNING. Section 5. That the Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf of the City of Alameda grant deeds trans- ferring the real propert' referred to in Sections I and 3 of this ordinance to the respective parties set out therein. The City Cleric of the City of Alameda is hereby directed to attest to same, Section 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of its final passage. FRANZ S.
