SAID SECTION 303, RELATING
TO FEES.

:SECTION 1. That subsections (a)
and (b) of Section 303 of the Build-
ing Code of the City of Alameda
are heresy amended to read as fol-
lows:

The City, County, State, or the
United States of America shall
be exempt from paying any fee
for any building, Wbere work for
which a permit is required by
this Code is started or proceeded
with prior to obtaining a permit,
the fee above specified shall be
doubled, but the payment of such
double fee shall not relieve any
persons from fully complying with
the requirements of this Gods in
the execution of the work nor
from any other pe'nalt'ies pre -
scribed herein.
Sec. 303 (b). 'Plan or Site Check -
ing Fees. Where plans and other
pertinent information are required
in accordance with su,bse�ctt on (b)
and sulbsecat!ibn (c) of Section 301
and when the value of the pro-
posed work exceeds one thousand
dollars, a plan or site checking
fee in addition to that fixed by
subsection (a) of Section 303 shall
be paid to the Building Official
as set forth in Table 3 -B.

and specifications for checking.
SECTION 2. That new subsee-
tilon (c) and (d) are hereby addled
to Section 303 of the Building Code
of the = Ciity of Alameda, which .shall
read as follows:
Sec. 303 (c). Fees for Demolish-
ing Buildings. Fees for demolisb-
ing buildings shlall be $3.00 for
the first story, $2.013 for the see -
ond story and $1.00 for each addi-
tional story to be demolished. In
the case of structures other than
buildings, the fee shall, be $1.130.
Se,c, 303 (d). Fermat Fees for
lReroofing. Fees for reroofing shall
be $3 ,0 , 0 for each permit.
SECTION 3. This olydmanc : sh'a'll.
be in full force and effect from and
after the expiration of thirty (30)
days from the date of its fiscal pas-
sage.
