Ordinance 1493Ordinance No. 1493 New Series AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING AND REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA BY AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1277, N.S. (M -2 -G to R -4 and C -I Districts, Estuary Housing Project) BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALA - MEDA as follows: SECTION 1. Section 11 -116 of Ordinance No, 1277, N.S., is hereby amended by reclassifying and re- zoning from M -2 -G, General Indus- trial (Mfg.)- Government District, to R -4, Neighborhood Apartment District, and C -1, Neighborhood Business District, all the real prop- erty situate within the City of Alameda described below: To R-4: In the State of California, County of Alameda, City of Ala- meda, beginning at the intersec- tion of the western line of the 18.193 acre tract of land de- scribed in the deed by The Re- gents of the University of Cali- fornia to State of California dated December 21, 1945, recorded February 14, 1955 in book 7567 of Official Records of Alameda County, page 117, (AK/16020); with the northern line of the 13.28 acre tract of land described in said deed; and running thence along the western line of said 18.193 acre tract north, 2° 47' 17" east 183.99 feet to the true Point of Beginning; thence continuing along said western line north 2° 47' 17" east 961.31 feet to the southern line of the parcel of land described in the deed by The Regents of the University of California to State of California, recorded September 16, 1959 in book 9152 of Official Records of Alameda County, page 57, (AQ/ 109491); thence along the last named line north 89° 40" 21" west 1.181.11 feet and south 77° 05' 30 " west 30.74 feet to the eastern line of the parcel of land described in the deed by State of California to The Regents of the University of California dated. The above amend ment shall be known;' as and re- ferred to as Reclassification and Rezoning Amendment No. 34 to Ordinance No. 1277, N.S. SECTION 3.
