AN ORDINANCE . AMENDING
SECTION 17 -241 OF THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO LEFT TURFS BY
MOTOR VEHICLES AT CERTAIN
STREET INTERSECTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL: OF. THV: CITY OF
ALAMEDA.:
SECTION 1. That Section 17 -241
of the Alameda Municipal Code
is hereby amended. to read as
follows:
Sec. 17 -241, Leff Turns Restrict-
ed. It shall be unlawful for the
driver of any vehicle to 'drive
such vehicle to the left and make
a left hand turn :from ;and at the
street intersections, .and during the
times, hereinafter in this section
specified, and the Chief of Police
shall cause appropriate signs to
be maintained gat said -places:
(1) Santa Clara Avenue and
Park Street, between the hours of
10:40 o'clock a,m. and 6 :00 - o'clock
p.m. on Saturday of each week,
and between the hours of 3 :30
o'clock p.m. and 6 :00 •o'clock p.m.
on all other. days of each week,
except Sundays and holidays.
(2) Central ,Avenue and 'Park
Street, between the hours , of 14:00
o'clock'a:.m.. and 6:00 o'clock p.m.
on Saturday of each week, and
between the hours of 3 :30 o'clock
p.m. and 6:00 o'clock p.m, on all
other days of each week, except
Sundays and: holidays.
(3) From Sunset. Road onto
Shore Line. Drive, between the
hours of 12:00 o'clock noon and
6:00 o'clock p.m., on Saturday land
Sunday of each week.
(4) From Coral Reef Road onto
Shore Line Drive, between the
hours of 12:00 o'clock noon and
6:00 :o'clock p.m., on Saturday and
Sunday of each week.
(5) From Harbor Light Road

6:00 o'clock p.m., on Saturday and
Sunday of each week.
SECTION 2. This ordinance
shall be in full force : and effect
from and .after the expiration of
thirty (30). days from the date of
its final passage.
