AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
SECTION 15 -6210 OF THE ALA-
M'EDA MUNICIPAL. CODE REµ
LATING . TO RATES FOR COL-
LECTION OF GARBAGE AND
REFUSE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 15 -6210
of the Alameda Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read as fol-
lows:
Sec. 15 -6210. Rates for Collec-
tion. For the services of collec-
tion and disposal of garbage
and refuse, as herein provided
for, there shall be charged by
the scavenger and collected by
him from the persons enumer-
ated in Sections 15 -621 and 15-
622 hereof, rates not to exceed
the following schedule:
1 collection per week per
dwelling unit, $1.55 per month;
2 collections per week per
dwelling unit, $3.10 per month,
3 collections per week per
dwelling unit, $4,65 per month.
Refuse and rubbish removal at
the rate of $1.55 per cubic yard.
One (1) 30- gallon, or smaller,

tute one collection.
SECTION 2. The rates provided
for in .. Section .15 -6210 may be
billed and charged by the scaven-
ger commencing July 1, 1966.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from
and . after the expiration of thirty
(30) days from the date of its
final passage.
