Ordinance 1577Alameda City Ordinances Ordinance No. 1577 New Series CITY OF ALAMEDA Ordinance No 1577 New Series AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA: Section 1. Th-t Section 17-344.1 (24-Minute Parking Limit) of the Alameda Municipal Code is here- by amended by adding thereto the following new subdivision, which shall read as follows: (9) Lincoln Avenue (Willow Street to Chestnut Street), commencing at a point in the (a) North curb line of Lincoln Avenue 458 feet westerly f r o m the west line of Wil- low Street and run- ning thence westerly 20 feet Section 2. That Section 17-432 (Stop) of the Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended by add- ing thereto the following new subdivision, which shall read as follows: (163) Pacific Avenue and Ch pin Street, signs shall be erected on Pacific Ave- nue at or near the south- westerly and northeast- erly corners of its inter- section with Chapin Street. Section 3. That Section 1'7-442 (Mechanical Signals) of the Ala- meda Code is hereby amended by adding thereto the following new subdivision which shall real as follows: (42) Intersection of Buena Vista Avenue and Oak Street. Section 4. That Section 17-461 (Yield) of the Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended by add- ing thereto the following new subdivisions, which shall read as follows: (19) On Post Street, at the northwesterly and south- easterly corners of its in- tersections with Washing- ton Street. (20) On P cific Avenue, at the northerly side of its intersection with Marshall Way. Section 5. That subdivisions (83), (114), (128), and (146) of Section 17-432 (Stop) of the Ala- meda Municipal Code are hereby repealed. Section 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of its final passage. WILLIAM M.
