AUTHORIZING GRANT OF NON EXCLUSIVE EASEMENTS FOR
PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES TO
EAST BAY MUNICIPAL UTILITY
DISTRICT, PACIFIC GAS AND
ELECTRIC COMPANY, AND PACIFIC TELEPIIONE A N D
TELEGRAPH COMPANY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA;
Section 1. That the City of Ala-
meda grant to East Bay Munici-
pal Utility District, a public cor-
poration, Pacific Gas and Electric
Company, a corporation, and Pa-
cific Telephone and Telegraph
Company, a corporation, non-ex-
clusive easements and the right
of way for the purpose of in-
stalling, constructing, operating,
maintaining and repairing pipe
lines, conduits, cables, wires and
appurtenances necessary for pub-
lic utility purposes in, over, under
and along the fallowing real prop-
erty in the City of Alameda,
County of Alameda, State of Cali-
fornia, described as:
PARCEL 1
COMMENCING at the monument
having coordinates Y=466,724.77
f e e t and X=1,483,668.85 feet
based on the California Coordi-
nate System, Zone III, as are
all bearings and distances in
this description, said monument
being at the intersection of the
monument line of Ballena Bou-

Section 2. The Mayor and City
Clerk be, and each hereby is, au-
thorized and directed to exe-
cute and to attest to, respectively,
on behalf of the City of Alameda,
appropriate grants of said ease-
ments to said corporations.. Pro-
vided, however, said grants shall
reserve to the City the right to
use said real property for other
municipal purposes, including but
not limited to, public streets, sew-
ers, wires, conduits and necessary
appurtenances.
Section 3. This ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from
and after the expiration of thirty
(30) days from the date of its
final passage.
