AN ORDINANCE AMENDING
THE A L A M E D A MUNICIPAL
CODE BY AMENDING SUBDIVI-
SION (17) OF SECTION ' 17 -431
THEREOF AND ADDING SUB -
DIVISIONS (169) AND (170) TO
SECTION' 17 -432 THEREOF, RE-
LATING TO STOP INTER-
SECTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED' BY THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That Section 17 -431
(Through Highways) of the Ala-
meda Municipal Code is hereby
amended by amending subdivision
(17) thereof, which shall read as
follows:
(17) San Jose Avenue, from
the westerly line of Park Street
to the easterly line of Grand
Street, excluding, however, its
intersection with Willow Street:
Section 2. That Section 17 -432
(Stop) of the Alameda Municipal
Code is hereby amended by add-
ing thereto the following new
subdivisions, which shall read as
follows:
(169) Willow Street and San
Jose Avenue, signs shall be
erected on San Jose Avenue at
or near the northeasterly and
southwesterly corners of its in -'
tersection with Willow Street.
(170) Eighth Street and Eagle
Avenue, a sign shall be erected
on Eagle Avenue at or near the
southwesterly corner of its in-
tersection with Eighth Street,
Section: 3. This ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from
and after the expiration of thirty
(30) days from the date of its
final passage.
