AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN
PORTIONS OF THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULA-
TIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1. Section 17 -432 (Stop Intersec-
tions) of the Alameda Municipal Code is
hereby amended by adding thereto Sub-
divisions (172) through (184), which shall
read as follows:
(172) Shorepoint Court and Westline
Drive, a sign shall be erected on Shore-
point Court at or near the northeasterly
corner of its intersection with Westline
Drive.
(173) Ballena Boulevard and Central
Avenue, a sign shall be erected on Ballena
Boulevard at or near the southeasterly
corner of its intersection with Central Ave-
nue.
(174) Fir Avenue and Island Drive,
signs shall be erected on Fir Avenue at or
near the northeasterly and southwesterly
corners of its intersection with Island
Drive.
(175) Gardenia Terrace and Fir Avenue,
a sign shall be erected on Gardenia Ter-
race at or near the northwesterly corner
of its intersection with Fir Avenue.
(176) Camellia Drive and Fir Avenue,
a sign shall be erected on Camellia Drive
at or near the northwesterly corner of Its
intersection with Fir Avenue.
(177) Holly Street and Fir Avenue, a
sign shall be erected on Holly Street at or
near the northwesterly corner of its inter-
section with Fir Avenue.
(178) Eugenia Court and Island Drive,
a sign shall be erected on Eugenia Court
at or near the northeasterly corner of its
intersection with Island Drive.
(179) Auburn Drive and Mecartney
Road, a sign shall be erected on Auburn
Drive at or near the southeasterly corner
of its intersection with Mecartney Road.
(180) Camellia Drive and Mecartney
Road, a sign shall be erected on Camellia
Drive at or near the southeasterly corner
of its intersection with Mecartney Road.
(181) Holly Street and Mecartney Road,
a sign shall be erected on Holly Street at
or near the southeasterly corner of its in-
tersection with Mecartney Road.
(182) Fontana Drive and Mecartney
Road, a sign shall be erected on Fontana
Drive at or near the southeasterly corner
of its intersection with Mecartney Road.
(183) Verdemar Drive and Mecartney
Road, a sign shall be erected on Verdemar
Drive at or near the southeasterly corner
of its intersection with Mecartney Road.
(184) Fitchburg Avenue and Magnolia
Drive, signs shall be erected on Fitchburg
Avenue at or near the northeasterly and
southwesterly corners of its intersection
with Magnolia Drive,
Section 2. Section 17 -232 (U Turn Pro-
hibited) of the Alameda Municipal Code is
hereby amended by adding thereto sub-
division (12), which shall read as follows:
(12) Westline Drive and Shorepoint
Court.
Section 3. Section 17 -461 (Yield Right -
of -Way Intersections) of the Alameda Mu-
nicipal Code is hereby amended by adding
thereto subdivision (21), which shall read
as follows:
(21) On Lilac Street, at the southwest-
erly corner of its intersection with Magno-
lia Drive.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after the
expiration of thirty (30) days from the
date of its final passage.
