AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN
PORTIONS OF THE ALAMEDA MUNI-
CIPAL CODE RELATING TO TRAFFIC.
REGULATIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY T_IIiFu
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That Section 17 -431
(Through Highways) of the
Alameda Municipal 'Code is
hereby amended by amendin
subsection (6) thereof to rea
as follows:
(6) Lincoln Avenue, from
the westerly line of Fourth
Street to the easterly line
of Gibbons Drive, exclud-
ing, however, its intersec-
tions with Fifth Street,
Webster. Street, Eighth
Street, Sherman Street,
Grand Street, Chestnut
Street, Willow Street, Oak
Street, Park Street, Broad-
way, and Versailles Ave-
nue.
Section 2. That Section 17 -461
(Yield Right -of -Way Intersec-
tions) of the Alameda Munici-
pal Code is hereby amended by
adding subsection (22) thereto
w hich shall read as follows:
(22) On Lincoln Avenue,
at the northeasterly and
southwesterly corners of
its intersection with Third
Street.
Section 3. That Section 17 -442
(Mechanical Signals to be
Erected) of the Alameda Munic-
ipal Code is hereby amended
by adding thereto subsections
(43) through (47), which shall
read as follows:
(4 3) Intersection of
Buena Vista Avenue and
Eighth Street.
(44) Intersection of Otis
Drive and Westhne Drive.
(4 5) Intersection of
Grand Street and Santa.--
Clara Avenue.
(46) Intersection of Ave -
n u e "C" and Main
Street.
(47) Intersection of Doo-
little Drive and Maitland
Drive.
Section 4. That Section 17 -432
(Stop Intersections) of the Ala-
. meda Municipal Code is hereby
amended by repealing subsec-
tions (20), (98) and (149).
Section 5. This ordinance
shall be in full force and effect
from and after the expiration
of thirty (30) days from the
date of its final passage.
