Ordinance 1666Alameda City Ordinances Ordinance No. 1666 New Series CITY OF ALAMEDA Ordinance No 1666, New Series AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY FROM STATE OF CALIFORNIA (DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS )FOR SUM OF $28,210.00 ( VICINITY OF POSEY TUBE, ELEVEN PARCELS) BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA: Section 1. That the City of Alameda acquire by purchase from the State of California, acting by and through its De- partment of Public Works, for the sum of $28,210.00, all that certain real property, consisting of eleven parcels, more particularly described in said State's Director's Deed No. 16109-DD, on file in the office of the City Clerk, which description i s incorporated here as though fully set forth at length. Section 2. That the use to which said property is to be put is a public purpose, namely, two parcels required for widening of public streets contiguous thereto, and the remaining parcels for public service (electric) easements necessary to the City's Bu- reau of Electricity operations. Section 3. That upon the effective date of this ordi- nance the sum of $25,740.00, to be appropriated from the Special Gas Tax Street Im- proyernent Fund (Account 222), plus the sum of $2,- / U.UU, to be appropriated from the Bureau of Elec- tricity Fund (Account No. 501.360), be paid to the said grantor as the purchase price of said real property. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the ex- piration of thirty (30) clays from the date of its final passage. TERRY LA CROIX, JR.
