AMENDING THE ALAMEDA
MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMEND-
ING ARTICLE 8 OF CHAPTER
5, TITLE XVII THEREOF, RE-
LATING TO PRIMA FACIE SPEED
LIMITS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That Section 17 -584
(25 Mlles Per Hour Prima
Facie Limits) of the Alameda
Municipal Code is hereby
amended by amending sub-
section (1) thereof to read as
follows:
(1) Main Street -- From Pa-
cific Avenue north to its ex-
treme northerly terminus.
Section 2. That Section 17.583
(35 Miles Per Hour Prima
Facie Limits) of the Alameda
Municipal Code is hereby
amended by repealing sub-
section (4) thereof.
Section 3. This ordinance
shall be in full force and effect
from and after the expiration
of thirty (30) days from the
date of its final e assage
