Ordinance 1699Ordinance No. 1699 Now Series AMENDING THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 11- 3112(B) THEREOF, AND ADDING SECTION 11- 3131 (C) THERETO, RELATING TO TIME OF CONSIDERATION BY CITY COUNCIL OF TENTATIVE AND FINAL SUBDIVISION MAPS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA: Section 1. Section 11- 3112(b) of the Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended to read: Sec. 11 -3112. Action On Tentative Map. (b) The Planning Board shall transmit a report of its action to the City Council, which shall act upon the report at the first succeeding meet- ing of the Council at which the report may duly appear upon the Council's regular Agenda for such meeting-. Section1. Section 11- 3131(c) is hereby added to the Alameda Municipal Code to read: Sec. 11 -3131. Action On Final Map. (c) The phrase, "first regular meet- ing,'' as used in subsection (b) hereof, shall mean the first suc- ceeding regular meeting of the City Council at which such map, offers, and any necessary documents in connection with consideration of the map, may duly appear upon the Council's regular Agenda for such meeting. Section 3. The intent of this ordinance is to effectuate, with respect to City Council consideration of Tentative and Final Subdivision Maps, action of the City Council in establishing a rule that Agendas for its meetings, shall be prepared in final form not less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the time set for its regular meetings, and that items for an Agenda not submitted or filed at a time permitting inclusion thereon shall first appear on the City Council's next succeeding Agenda. Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of it$ final passage. TERRY LA CROIX, JR.
