AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CER-
TAIN PORTIONS OF THE ALAMEDA
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That Section 17 -432 (Stop
Intersections) of the Alameda
Municipal Code is hereby amended by
amending subsections (135) and (161)
thereof, to read as follows:
(135) Bayview Drive and Court Street,
a sign shall be erected on Court
Street at or near the northwesterly
corner of its intersection with
Bayview Drive.
(161) Melrose Avenue and
Maitland Drive, signs shall be
erected on Melrose Avenue at or
near the northeasterly and
southwesterly corners of its inter-
section with Maitland Drive.
Section 2. That Section 17 -432
(Stop Intersections) of the Alameda
Municipal Code is hereby amended by
adding subsection (207) thereto, which
shall read as follows:
(207) Mecartney Road and Melrose
Avenue, a sign shall be erected on
Mecartney Road at or near the
northwesterly corner of its inter -
section with Melrose Avenue.
Section 3. That Section 17 -333 (All
Time and Limited No Parking) of the
Alameda Municipal Code is hereby
amended by amending subsection (47)
thereof, to read as follows:
(47) Cypress Street, on both sides
thereof, between the-easterly line
of Third Street and a point 307 feet
easterly therefrom.
Section 4. That Section 17 -344.1
(24 Minute Parking Limit) of the
Alomedo Municipal Code is hereby
amended by repealing subsection 3 (b).
Section. 5. That Section 17 -431
(Through Highways) of the Alameda
Municipal Code is hereby amended by
amending subsection (16) thereof, to
read as follows:
(16) Otis Drive from the easterly line
of Park Street to the easterly line of
Peach Street; excluding; however,
its intersections with Broadway
and High Street.
Section 6. That Section 17 -442
(Mechanical Signals to be Erected) of
the Aiarneda Municipal Code is hereby
amended by adding subsection (54)
.thereto, which shall read as follows:
(54) Intersection of High Street and
Otis Drive,
Section 7. That Section 17 -461
(Yield Right- of -Wav Intersection) of
the Alameda Municipal Code is hereby
amended by amending subsection (26)
thereof, to read as fol lows;
(26) On Maitland Drive, in the right
turn lanes, at the southeasterly and
southwesterly corners of its inter-
section with Doolittle Drive,
Section 8. This ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after
the expiration of thirty (30) days from
the date of its final passage.
