Ordinance 1736ORDINANCE 1736 AUTHORIZING GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES TO PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY AND THE BUREAU OF ELECTRICITY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN- Section 1. That the City of Alameda grant to Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company, a corporation, and the Bureau of Electricity, Depart- ment of Public Utilities of the City of Alameda, a telephone and electrical easement, for underground conduit ' over, under, above and upon the following real property in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, described as: The southeastern 3.00 foot stri of Parcel 2 of "Parcel Map No. 970, Alameda, California," more par- ticulariv described as follows: COMMENCING at the City Survey Monument having coordinates V = 453,232.59 feet and x = 1,497,405.78 feet, based on the California Coordinate System, Zone III, asoreall bearingsand distances in this description, said monument being at the in- tersection of Fir Avenue and Holly Street, as said monument, avenue and street are shown upon said Parcel Map. No. 970; THENCE South 8*25'26" East 13.24 feet to the northern corner of Parcel 3 of said Parcel Map No. THENCE along the northeastern line of sold Parcel 3, South 57 East 471.50 feet to the eastern corner thereof; T HENCE line of said Parcel 3, South 35*58'03" West 32.06 feet to the eastern corner of said Parcel 2. last said corner being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; THEN line of said Parcel 2, South 35*58'03" West 213.37 feet to the southern corner thereof; T HENCE southwester line of said Parcel 2, 54 West 3.00 feet; �THENCE along a line which is T HENCE parallel with and northwesterly 3.00 feet, measured at right angles from said southeastern line of said Parcel 2, North 35 East 213.19 feet to the southwestern line of said Parcel 57*26'57" East 3.01 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. Section 2, That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and each hereby is, authorized and directed to execute and to attest to, respectively, on behalf of the City of Alameda, a grant of said easement to Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company and the Bureau of Section 3.
