Ordinance 1747ORDINANCE 1747 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE No 1738 NEW SERIES, RELATING TO A REAL PROPERTY CONVEYANCE TAX BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 1738 New Series, of the City of Alameda, relating to the establishment of a real property conveyance tax and providing for the administration thereof, is hereby fully and completely repealed. Section 2. That Ordinance No. 1561 New Series, passed by the Council of the City of Alameda on December 5, 1967, :which imposed a documentary stamp tax on the sale of real property will remain in full force and effect. Section 3. This ordinance provides for a tax levy for the usual and current expenses of the City and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon final Passage, pursuant to Section 3 -11 of the Charter of the City of Alameda.
