Amending the alameda municipal code by amending section 11-211 thereof relating to membership qualifications of the design review board

Sec. 11-221. Board Established,
Membership Qualifications. There
is hereby created a Design Review
Board consisting of five (s)
members, all of whom shall be
residents of the City during incurn,
ber"y, nominated by the Mayor and
appointed by the City Council:
(a) One (1) registered architect;
(b) One (1) registered landscape
architect, architect, or building
designer;
(c) One ('1) state I icensed general
building contractor;
(d) Two (2) members shall be ci-
tizens of the City at large with an
interest in community design,
(e) In the event that the Council
determines that any of the Positions
described in subsections (a), (b) or
(c) cannot be filled by gersons
Qualified thereunder, the Council
May fill any such posntjQ by oga_
Pointing Persons qualified under
subsections (a), (b), (C) m (d).
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in
full for and effect from and aftei the
expiration of thirty (30) days frorri the
date of its final passage.
