Amending the alameda municipal code by amending sections 2-312, 2-321 and 11-221 thereof relating to nomination and appointment of members of the recreation commission golf commission and design review board
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF I'JAViEDA that:
. Section 1. Section 2-312 of the Alameda Municipal Code
is hereby wmanded to read as follaws:
Sec. 2-312. Membersliip--APpointment--Remcrval- Said
Commission shall consist of five (5) regular members, and
one (1) ex-officio member who shall be the City Manager
of the City of Alameda and who shall nos: be erLtitled, to
vote at any meetings or other proceadings.
The five regular members shall, upon n of the
Mayor, be appointed by the City Council. 'P�iu term of such
members shall. be for three (3) years and the. until
the uucces3or of sudh member is appointed and qaalified,
and all terms shall begin on the first day of Octobur. A
vacancy in the office of any such member shall be fillad
for the unenpired term by appointment in the manner he.rain--
above set forth.
A regular member may be removed by the affirmative
vo- of four (4) members of the city Council.

is hereby amended to read as follcws:

is hereby established a commission which shall be knaum as
the Golf Commission of the City of Alameda, which shah
consist of five (5) regular members and two (2) ex- officio
members. The five (5) regular members shall at the time
of their appointment and continuously during incumbency
be electors pf the City; they shall be nominated by the
Mayor and appointed by the city Council.. The two (2) ex-
officio members shall be incumbent Councilmen, F')pointed
by and serve at the pleasure of the City Council; such
ex- officio members shall have full rights of partici_aation
in the business of the Commi3sion except the right to vote.
Section 3 . Section 11 -221 of the Alarm. da Municipal. code

date of its final passage.
