AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING AND REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY
WITHIN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA BY AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE
NO. 1277 N.S.

From the R--1, Single Family Residential District to the 0,
Open Space District.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 11 -116 of Ordinance No.1177, N.S., is hereby
amended by reclassifying and rezoning from R -1, Single Family Residential
District to 0, Open Space District, all the real property situate within
the City of Alameda as described below:
Beginning at a granite monument set at Quarter Section corner in
center of Section 11, Township 2 South, Range 4 West, Mt. Diablo
Base and Meridian. Thence south 14 °40" east 187.45 feet;
thence on a curve left 121.52 feet; thence on a further curve left
150.79 feet; thence on a curve right 85.15 feet; thence on a
curved radius of 20 feet 29.90 feet; thence on a curved radius
of 20 foot 2'1.60-feet; thence north 10 east 130 feet;
thence on a 20 foot radius 16.88 feet; continuing same radius 12
feet; thence northerly 94.25 feet to southern line of seawall of
Portola Avenue; thence northwest 12.43 feet along seawall; thence
nortneast 6 feet; thence north 61 west 380 feet more or
less; thence on a curve left of an arc with a 20 foot radius 15.54
feet to point of beginning.
SECTION 2. The above amendment shall be known as and referred
to as Reclassification and Rezoning Amendment No. 96 to Ordinance No.
1277, N.S.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of its
final passage.
