AMENDING THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING
SECTION 12 -246 THERETO, PROHIBITING THE MAINTENANCE
AND REPAIR OF NON- CONFORMING SIGNS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that:
Section 1. The Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended
by adding Section 12 -246 thereto to read as follows:
Sec. 12 -246 No advertising structures which
have become deteriorated, decayed or unsafe under
Uniform Codes of the City shall be repaired unless

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was
duly and regularly adopted and passed, as amended, by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of July, 1977,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Oiament, Sherratt and President Corica, (3).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen Beckam and Tillman, (2).
