AMENDING THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING
SECTION 3 -1313 of ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 13, TITLE III
THEREOF, RELATING TO A TAX UPON CONSTRUCTION OF
RESIDENTIAL UNITS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that:
Section 1 . Title III, Chapter 13, Article 1, of the
Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended by amending Section
3 -1313 thereof, to read:
Sec. 3 -1313 Amounts Payable Every person
constructing any new dwelling unit in the City
shall pay a tax of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars
($750.00) for each such dwelling unit.
Section 2 . This ordinance provides for and fixes the
rate of a tax levy and is a municipal revenue measure, and it
shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its final
passage.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance was
duly and regularly adopted and passed by the council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 1st day of November, 1977, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman
and President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
